The
Members of Cross Point's City Recreation League must have severely
offended someone. One by one they are murdered. The
only clues are a purple feather on each body, purple froth emanating from their mouth suggesting poison, but the police are
baffled as to the nature or source of it, and the purple haze surrounding their
bodies that only fledgling psychic Heather Highmark can see.
She
has helped police solve crimes before with her clairvoyant ability. Now it is crucial that she discover who the shadowy face
in the purple haze is. There are only two members of the recreation league left, one is her brother Roy Highmark, and the
other her would-be lover, Langdon Cruise, lead homicide detective for the Cross Point Police Department.
Heather
desperately needs to find the murderer, she desperately needs to avoid Landon’s charisma. She refuses to be another
notch on his bedpost, but she needs his help. It’s beginning to look like Heather needs to name the killer before
she becomes one on the list destined to earn the purple feather and death.
